    I’m sure that any creationist would explain this as “well, there is some adapting in a species, but a species changing into something really different? No way!”. They can explain anything away, after all… :)

    I wonder… did this strain “evolve” into something higher on the food chain? Like a tiny fish? Or did it stay what it was; a strain, albeit more powerful.
