So, if we were to look at the bible and remove the names “God” and “Satan” and replace them with “A” and “B” (respectively) then try to pipoint which is the evil one.. which do you suppose we’d choose?
I’m always amazed how people declare God to be this perfect and good being that’s always looking out for us, considering all the people he’s slaughtered. Possibly, more importantly, how many people have killed in his name due to their ‘beliefs’ in him.

ok asshole lets look at it from satans point of view. Would you rather kill a bunch of people just to do it or effect the minds of 10 times as many people and generations who will do all the killing for him. You can talk about people killing in the name of God but in the bible it says thou shall not kill, idiot. Meaning man took killing as his own interpretation of justice. Satan is a liar and his whole point is to make you believe hes not that bad. In other words, when you die make sure you’re not wearing a coat, dummy.
Yeah, sorry, there have been far far more people killed in the name of god than there have been in the name of satan. Get your facts straight buddy.
People who hold on to the flesh and carnal part of their lives will get exactly what they wish. If you expect to die and that be the end of your existence than that’s what you’ll get in other words.
When God destroys a human life he is destroying something HE created. Just like if humans created free thinking robots and decided one day that they are vicious and foul and you then toss them in the incinerator. If MY robots began killing each other and stealing and doing other things I consider evil, then I would surely eliminate them instead of letting them continue.
You guys who ask this question (repeatedly) and make this example seem to think you are special in the grand scheme. Your life on Earth is no more special than anyone else’s even according to your own atheist beliefs. You live and then you die– Some longer than others. What does it matter how long you live if you have no faith in a (Christian) God? Your life is pointless. What does it matter how you die?

Cool, so if i kill my kids, it’s ok then, right? I mean, I did create them. (no, god did not make me have sex, nor did he play any role in the pregnancy)

It’s great how you show your fear of death by refusing to believe that one day you will die and that will be it. The only thing believing in an afterlife (or everlasting life) serves to do is lessen you current life; after all, why bother living life to the fullest if you’re going to live forever.. you’ve got plenty of time to live, right?
If anything, knowing your life will eventually end means you’re going to do more and enjoy your life more.

Well, that would be true if those people he killed were saved, which they were not.
If god is omnipotent, and there is nothing he cannot do, the only reason he would have to kill is because he wanted to kill. He could just as easily created men that did not need to be killed. God killing people shows that he is not god, for he has done what he has deemed to be an evil act, and therefor is himself evil.
Satan is looking pretty good, to be honest. I wonder if he has any billionaire rockstar packages available….

Wow, god must not have any control over our development if he can’t even keep us from fucking up and doing the opposite of what he wants all the time. What a dumb piece of shit. Might as well start worshiping bums. At least I can see them and know they exist.

As I understand it, “Thou shalt not kill” is a mis-translation. A more correct translation is “Thou shalt not murder”. The old testament had plenty of death penalties.
A disbelief in a Christian God only makes my life pointless to you. Not to me or necessarily to anyone else.
For that matter, using “God” as your own name violates a different commandment, #4, about misusing the name of God.
Regardless, we do not allow individuals to kill. “Only the state shall kill”. If there were sentient robots, and we regarded them as such, they would be destroyed as an act of the state and would be legally and morally sanctioned. Kind of like Jacob was sanctioned to kill Caananites after they had decided to become circumcised and were still sore.
