It’s impossible for human knowledge of all sorts to even comprehend and be 101% certain about the existence/non-existence of God, meaning that we never will know God in our lifetime, so why bitch about something neither sides (Atheist Skeptics vs Religious Believers) can ultimately prove?

And I admit that there are things that other animals do that we can never accomplish, such as running and steering tightly like a leopard, morphing our bodies into camouflage, etc.
And seriously, Christians/Muslims, consider other spiritual views, not just your own. That is what kept me away from your bloody cults, and I will not become a victim to this again.

I know that there are apes that have understood human inventions and some that could pronounce words aswell. What I meant about us being truly unique is that we were able to EVOLVE our intelligence with critical thinking.
All of what we’ve invented, the things you carry in your home, even the fine intelligent construction of your home are bits of concrete evidence that we’re the most unique of all the animal kingdom (barely). We developed things that no other animal would be capable of doing.

Buddhism is more of a philosophy than a religion since most Buddhists don’t believe in a higher power (from what I can tell). As a result, I don’t think about Buddhism much, not to mention to the whole pacifism thing tends to put them in my good books since they don’t go around telling people what to do.
As for Hinduism.. well, I almost never see any stories about Hinduism in the news.. nor have I ever really had any in depth conversations with any Hindus, so it’s hard to complain about it, though I’m their story is just as silly as the Abrahamic religions.

I suggest here, anyone who think he/she is a human, he/she must preserve the harmony by understanding others’ sensitivity and stop condemning each other. As far as Evolution goes, even if I were Atheist, I still really don’t give a fuck if we evolved from apes or not. Because regardless, humans ARE a part of the animal kingdom, whether you like it or not.
We are mammals, but truly gifted ones at that. I just find it strange that humans are the *only* known group from the rest of living species that has been able to invent, to think new ideas, to understand communication, to do so many amazing things.
If we were given that gift from nature alone, then pretty much nature (whatever the fuck gave us this kind of feature) itself can be considered our “god.” Because I mean, we’re the ONLY ones to have such a special and distinctive kind of life to live with.
With all other animals, they are restricted to only certain features given by nature, some better, others inferior.
For example, dogs can’t understand that there’s more to do with their abilities (such as rescuing people in danger, guiding disabled/blind people, etc.) unless WE teach them something that they have yet to discover in their hidden abilities. Some “accident” it was. But I’m being civil here.
And I admit that there are things that other animals do that we can never accomplish, such as running and steering tightly like a leopard, morphing our bodies into camouflage, etc.
And seriously, Christians/Muslims, consider other spiritual views, not just your own. That is what kept me away from your bloody cults, and I will not become a victim to this again.

I know that there are apes that have understood human inventions and some that could pronounce words aswell. What I meant about us being truly unique is that we were able to EVOLVE our intelligence with critical thinking.
All of what we’ve invented, the things you carry in your home, even the fine intelligent construction of your home are bits of concrete evidence that we’re the most unique of all the animal kingdom (barely). We developed things that no other animal would be capable of doing.

Buddhism is more of a philosophy than a religion since most Buddhists don’t believe in a higher power (from what I can tell). As a result, I don’t think about Buddhism much, not to mention to the whole pacifism thing tends to put them in my good books since they don’t go around telling people what to do.
As for Hinduism.. well, I almost never see any stories about Hinduism in the news.. nor have I ever really had any in depth conversations with any Hindus, so it’s hard to complain about it, though I’m their story is just as silly as the Abrahamic religions.

Dear friends in this topic. I just wanna tell you that preserving harmony is a good deed and it is one of the good value of human, who has brain to think about cause and effects. I will criticise whatever I want. I don’t care that it hurts your feelings. You believe something that I see as being archaic and false, i will not be quiet just because you don’t like it.
Hmm… Do you not realize the stigma that comes with saying you’re an atheist? My best friend and I are both atheists and we refer to ourselves as heathens, simply because that is what the religious folk would have us labeled as. Religion sees atheists as the raping, murdering, baby eating scum of the universe, yet you never hear of atheists blowing up abortion clinics or flying planes into buildings. There is no record of us strapping bombs to our bodies and walking into a coffee shop. So, in a sense, our lack of religion is made fun of. And, every religion insults every other. Islam insults Judaism, Christianity insults Paganism, Catholicism insults little boys (sorry, I couldn’t pass that cheap blow up.) If you can’t take it, don’t dish it out.
I don’t quite see why people get in a huff, we see Obama made into a cartoon texting away, we laugh, see george bush looking like a monkey we laugh, that is not everything about those people and neither is the funny/sad part of religions, we know there is good parts too, just not really comic material, besides, have none of these people done something dumb and a friend make a joke about it and both of em laugh? or do they start punching and crying when someone notice that they have shaving cream on their ear? hell I am 50 lbs overweight and I am the first to joke about fat kid needs cake, can’t we all just understand it is a joke and treat as such? and where is the muslims when you make a comic about jews and christians? more then likely laughing their arses off, just not the same when the shoe is on the other foot I am sure
