    This is a really good response to the question. Well done. However, despite the poignancy of your rebuttal, it still does not refute the effectiveness of having a “false-sense” of hope that is a lot of the time the only thing people may have when they are on a low.

    We must not forget that hope of any kind will at least offer a means of relief for people.

    Yet i still agree with your perspective. At the end of the day – the destruction of religion will always outweigh the advantages (of “false” belief).

    Thanks for the enlightenment though.
